Oakridge Aviary

We run a small climate controlled, closed aviary in  West Central Florida.  We have been breeding small parrots for almost 20 yrs .  All of our birds are handfed and weaned on a diet of quality seed, Roudybush pellets and veggies.  We cater to both the individual pet owner and to select pet stores. We offer both babies and breeder birds. 

There is a wealth of information online about all of these great little birds.  Any description on their personalites is my opinion only.

All of these birds make great pets.  They are perfect for the person who wants a parrot but doesn't want the mess and noise of a big cage.  Any of these birds will do well in a condo or apartment where noise may be an issue.

Shipping is available at the customer's expense via Delta or Continental Airlines.  Shipping cost is usually $125.00 including a reusable carrier.

Currently we are raising lineolated parakeets, pacific parrotlet color mutations,, rosy bourkes and kakarikis.

We are proud that several of our birds have placed  "Top Bench" in SPBE judging shows in Florida, Georgia and Alabama in 2010 and 2011.
